Pilar has developed for Sundial Pictures, Prentice Penny, MACRO Studios and Eva Longoria’s UnbeliEVAble Entertainment. Gonzalo Maza (Una Mujer Fantástica) and Matt López (Father of the Bride) were mentors. She’s a THREAD at Yale University Scholarship recipient, a Women in Film mentee, a fellow of FOX Network Writers Lab, Univision, Televisa, and NALIP Latino Lens. FAMILIA, a short film she wrote, acted in and produced was selected for Flickers' and was a New Filmmakers in partnership with the Academy finalist. Here's the full short.
